Exams

The Department of Technical Education is the highest policy making body in the field of Technical Education in Karnataka. Its primary function is planning of developing Technical Education in the state. The Board of Technical Examination is responsible for conduct of Diploma/Post diploma /Tailoring examination and award Diploma/Post Diploma/certificate to the eligible candidates. Director of Technical Education is the Chairman of the Board and all the other activities of the Board is carried out by the Secretary , Board of Technical Examination. As the Board conducts examinations in large number of centers across the State, common guidelines are necessary based on Board of Technical Examinations working rules in order to bring uniformity and standardization to conduct examinations. Central Board of Technical Examination was established in the year 1952 and subsequently re designated as Board of Technical Examinations.

 

Also the institution conducts examination (both theory and practical) at the end of every semester. The dedicated examination section under the supervision of the Controller of Exams will carry out all the examination related processes including setting up of question papers from the external examiners, conduction of practical and theory examinations including valuation of answer booklets by the external examiners.

 

The students are informed and they are required to fill the examination application and submit to the exam section within the prescribed last date along with the prescribed exam fees.

 

At the end of examination, the marks are tabulated and results are announced after the approval obtained by the Awards Committee.

The results of each department and the list of candidates eligible for higher semesters and successfully completed candidates results are announced.
