Electronics instrumentation and Control Engg.

The Department of Electronic Instrumentation and Control Engineering was Established in the year 1994 under World Bank assistanceship with the aided status. The course aims at training students in the field of electronic instrumentation encompassing the concepts of Measurement, Monitoring & Feedback Control viz.,  Medical Instrumentation, Process Instrumentation, PCB Simulation, Analog and Digital Electronics, Microcontroller and Application, Electronic Measurements, Instrumentation Drawing, Programmable Logic Controllers & Industrial Electronics  .

The emergence of multispecialty hospitals, innovative methodologies in diagnostics, micro level accuracy in pathological areas, Computer assisted imaging techniques have opened up opportunities for trained technologists opting EI & CE programme.  Owing to the revolutionary heralds in Medical Instrumentation field, the programme has a far reaching futuristic potential in present & future global scenario.

  2. Provide knowledge of basic science, mathematics and engineering skills to identify and solve problems related to Electronic Instrumentation and Control Engineering industry.
